CD players and a phono stage.
The CD players are very special in that
they don't sound like CD players. They don't sound mechanical or digital
at all. They sound wonderfully pure, detailed and spacious with a beautiful
tone and natural presentation.
CDP-7T/PSU 3T is a two box player, a top
loading player with a valve output stage and separate power supply. It
uses two ECC 81 valves.
Digidrive/Digicode is a four box player, a
top loading transport, a DAC with valve output stage and two power supplies,
one for transport and one for the DAC. It uses four ECC81 valves and
has a fully balanced as well as single-ended output.Both players have
separate on and off switches for digital and analogue supplies enabling
the player to be left on without using the valves.
The Phonosystem
is a MC/MM valve two box phonostage, a phonostage and separate power
supply. The Phono-system is equally special in that it gives an astonishing
performance that belies its price. Three dimensional, dynamic, detailed
with an extra-ordinary insight into the music. The Phonosystem is unusual
in that it steps up to MM using valves not transformers. It uses two 6922
valves and three ECC 81 valves.
