An exceptional Italian manufacturer of very special, multi-box, top loading, valve CD players. Unlike some other CD players, they are not mechanical or digital sounding at all. But present a wonderfully pure, detailed, spacious sound with a beautiful tone and natural presentation.
CDP-7T MkIII/PSU 3T is a two-box player, a top loading player with a valve output stage and separate power supply. It uses two ECC 81 valves.
Digidrive Mk II/Digicode 2.24 is a four box player, a top loading transport, a balanced DAC with valve output stage and two power supplies, one for transport and one for the DAC. It uses four ECC81 valves and has fully balanced as well as single-ended outputs.
Both players have separate on and off switches for digital and analogue supplies enabling the player to be left on without using the valves.
